Played college baseball at Elon College where he still holds the Phoenix single-season Division I record for ERA (1.76) and opponent BA (.171) in 2011...led Elon College in wins (7) and appearances (27) in 2011 helping Elon to a Southern Conference championship...named First Team All-Southern Conference by the media in 2011...graduated from Wellington (FL) High School...resides in Smyrna, Georgia with his wife Amanda.

Rookie made 50 relief appearances, ranking T4th on the club, 7th among National League rookies and the 8th Cardinals rookie with 50+ appearances since 2000…Contract was purchased from Memphis (AAA) on 5/27 after not appearing at Major League Spring Training…Made his Major League debut on 5/28 at COL and retired the lone batter he faced (T.
