ST. LOUIS -- Cardinals outfielder Matt Holliday was back in the starting lineup on Sunday after missing the final inning of Saturday's 3-0 win over Colorado.

Holliday stumbled slightly when hitting the first-base bag on an eighth-inning groundout on Saturday.

"He told me before he left last night that he was going to be fine," St. Louis manager Mike Matheny said. "This morning, he checked out fine. I think it just scared him a little bit."

Holliday entered Sunday's series finale against the Rockies hitting .273 with five homers and 21 RBIs.
