Cardinals unveil 2013 promotional schedule

Bobbleheads, replica jerseys highlight wide range of collectibles, giveaways

The Cardinals on Tuesday announced their promotional schedule for the 2013 season, and it includes at least 34 giveaways highlighted by a series of bobbleheads and replica jerseys.

Games from the beginning of April to the end of September will feature everything from a Stan Musial harmonica (April 12) to an Allen Craig replica bat (April 27) and a 1980s Willie McGee replica jersey (Sept. 7).

The April 13 contest against the Brewers will feature a replica of the new 2013 home alternate jerseys.

The team will also pay tribute to the past, with items like an Ozzie Smith Gold Glove bobblehead (July 19), and the present, with a pair of Cardinals High Sports Socks (May 19) popularized last season during "High Sock Sundays."

Additionally, all Friday night home games will be Budweiser Bash Fridays (formerly Busch Bash), with past and present Cardinals players, music, games and prizes in the Ford Plaza two hours before the first pitch. All Sunday games will be Prairie Farms Ice Cream Sundays, and the club will be bringing back the Ice Mountain Autograph Night series over the course of five dates throughout the season.

Tickets for many of the promotional game dates are available to fans who purchase one of several ticket packages geared toward the promotional items themselves, including the Bobblehead Pack (five games) and the Jersey Pack (10 games). All ticket packages are on sale at cardinals.com/packs.
