ST. LOUIS -- With the annual Cardinals Care Winter Warm-Up fan festival approaching, the club announced ticket prices and policies -- as well as a tentative schedule for autographs sessions at the event.
The Warm-Up, which will again take place at the Hyatt Regency in downtown St. Louis, runs from Saturday, Jan. 14, through Monday, Jan. 16. Autograph tickets go on sale at Cardinals.com starting on Wednesday at 9 a.m. CT. Fans can also purchase passes for the Warm-Up itself at Cardinals.com.
Tickets range from $5 for players such as Mitchell Boggs, Kyle Lohse and Kyle McClellan up to $100 for Lance Berkman, who will sign on Jan. 15 from 3-5 p.m. CT. The next tier is $75, the cost for autographs from David Freese (Jan. 16, noon-2 p.m.), Hall of Fame former manager Whitey Herzog (Jan. 16, 10-11 a.m.), Matt Holliday (Jan. 15, 3-5 p.m.) and Yadier Molina (time and date to be determined).
Chris Carpenter will sign on Jan. 14 from 9-11 a.m. at a cost of $50. Recently retired manager Tony La Russa's autograph will cost $40, and La Russa will sign from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Jan. 15, while new manager Mike Matheny will sign from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Jan. 16 for $30 each. Adam Wainwright will sign from 1-3 p.m. on Jan. 14, and his signature will cost $50.
Some autographs are free and do not require a ticket. Among those signing for free will be former Cardinals Andy Benes, Ken Dayley, Ken Reitz and Tom Pagnozzi and prospects Matt Carpenter and Zack Cox.
According to the club, additional players may be added at a later date. All proceeds benefit Cardinals Care, the charitable arm of the Cardinals.
