at Jupiter, Fla.
Sunday, March 2

Marlins at the plate: Matt Treanor's two-run double was the key hit in a five-run fourth for the "visiting" Marlins, who also make Roger Dean Stadium their spring home. Dan Uggla doubled twice for Florida, and Jorge Cantu added two base hits as well.

Cardinals at the plate: Troy Glaus picked up his first RBIs of the spring with a two-run double in the fourth inning. Albert Pujols singled and doubled, making him 4-for-7 so far this spring.

Marlins on the mound: Starter Scott Olsen was sharp in a scoreless three-inning stint. He got five ground-ball outs, struck out two, allowed one hit and didn't walk a batter.

Cardinals on the mound: Starter Kyle McClellan gave up some hard-hit balls, but threw strikes over three innings. He allowed no runs on two hits, striking out three. Russ Springer allowed a hit in one scoreless inning as he made his '08 Grapefruit League debut.

Grapefruit League records: Marlins 4-1; Cardinals 2-2.

Up next: The Cardinals head up the coast to play the Nationals in Viera, Fla., on Monday at 1:05 p.m. ET. Braden Looper will face Tim Redding. The Marlins host the World Series champion Red Sox, also at 1:05 p.m., with Andrew Miller starting for Flordia against Boston's Kyle Snyder.
